Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-06

These terms govern your use of the LuPass iOS app. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

What LuPass is

LuPass is a study tool for the Chinese driver's license written test (科目一 and 科目四) for foreigners. It contains a question bank translated into English, practice modes, mock exams, and progress tracking.

LuPass is not affiliated with the Public Security Bureau, the Ministry of Public Security, any DMV (车管所), or any official Chinese government body. Passing the practice exams in this app does not guarantee passing the real test. Use this app to study; the real test is at the DMV.

Premium purchase

The Premium upgrade is a one-time, non-recurring purchase processed by Apple. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charges. All payment, refund, and chargeback rules are Apple's:

We can't issue refunds directly because we never receive your payment. If Apple grants you a refund, your premium access is revoked accordingly.

Premium is tied to the Apple ID you used to purchase. You can restore it on any device signed into the same Apple ID via the "Restore Purchases" button. Family Sharing is enabled, so members of your Apple Family group also get access.
